Edited: Tencent Games, the creator of Ring of Elysium has announced the European servers will go live on November 23, 2018. The servers at set to launch alongside the Thanksgiving event.
Ring of Elysium is finally getting European servers after a long battle with the General Data Protection Regulation review system. The GDPR was passed on May 25, 2018 which required the game to pass review prior to serving players in the European region.
It appears as if Ring of Elysium has passed the GDPR review as they have announced that the European servers will go live “within two weeks”. Ring of Elysium developers are currently in the final stages of the preparation process and have already deployed the servers.
Prior to release of European servers, Ring of Elysium was only available in North America and parts of Asia. After the release of European servers it appears that the community is now requesting they add South East Asia servers. We have reached out the Ring of Elysium developers to see what their plans for expansion are, but have not heard back yet.
