FaZe Clan is the largest esports organization my social media following. FaZe was formed in 2010 by a bunch of YouTubers who showcased “trick shotting” in Call of Duty videos. Once Call of Duty Black Ops 2 was released FaZe decided to expand into esports with a competitive Call of Duty team. In 2016 FaZe expanded into Counterstrike which marked a new era for FaZe referred to by it’s members as “FaZe 2.0”. Since FaZe 2.0 the clan has joined numerous esports and is constantly recruiting top level competition.
