Treyarch has announced the next official Call of Duty Black Ops 4 Double XP Weekend. The event will allow players to earn double XP in multiplayer and zombies, and also double merits in Blackout. The special double XP weekend is in celebration of the holiday season.

The end date is speculation and has not yet been confirmed by Treyarch. However, based on the previous two double XP weekends that is the expected end date.
To capitalize on the double XP weekend players will find themselves trying new game modes. Some of the best game modes to play in multiplayer while double XP is happening are the object game modes. Objective game modes like Hardpoint, Domination, Control and Safeguard will be able to earn the most XP by playing the objective in each respective game type.
The event is set to take place just after the release of the new Absolute Operation Zero black market tier list that consists of 100 all new tiers of unlock-able items. With players determined to make it to the end of the new tier list the double XP should make the game more enjoyable.
