The Fortnite Twitch account confirmed that Epic Games is working on a permanent version of the Playground Mode. Currently, the mode takes the place of their limited time modes that usually last a week or two. After listening to the community and seeing the quality of content that can come from the playground mode, it looks like they decided to keep it around, for good.
